A Scottsdale burger joint was named best in US. But we've got a couple other recommendations

Yelp just released it list of "Top Cheeseburgers in Every State in 2023," and a Scottsdale burger joint, Happy's Hamburgers, made the list.

The methodology included identifying restaurants with a high mention of "cheeseburger," then looking at a number of factors, including total volume and ratings from January 1, 2023 and July 20, 2023.

The burger joint, located at 10435 N. Scottsdale Road, received 4.5 stars from 338 reviews.

Here's what Christopher D. wrote on Yelp: "The burgers are AMAZING!!!!!! I literally will not eat a burger anywhere else but this place! The staff is amazing and you are treated as if you're family! If you have not eaten there, you're missing out!"

In case you're looking for other recommendations, we polled top chefs around metro Phoenix about their favorite cheeseburgers, and the Hush Burger at Fire at Will came up several times.
