Splashdown | There are many times when we've looked longingly at the kids playing in the outdoor water fountains in the center of Tempe Marketplace, soaked from head to toe, not caring if it were 91, 101 or 111 degrees. Usually, the grown-ups all stand off to the side, holding shopping bags or the kids' shoes. So let this be your strategy: Don't wear good clothes. Don't dress for the movie theater or the bookstore or the restaurants; dress for the water fountain: shorts, T-shirt, flip-flops. Then enjoy.
